Furniture Refinishing

Stripping and restaining, or just conditioning the wood with oils or varnishes- this is a great way to make old furniture look new. I work with old furniture, brand new pieces, I stain, paint, and/or create designs with paint. I work with Cabot and Minwax stains, and typically Valspar paint- either latex or oil, depending on the project. If you're not sure of the colors you want to work with, I can provide samples and give ideas or advice. Antiquing and weathering are also options if you want a decorative finish. If you prefer, I will work at your place of residence or shop so the furniture never leaves your property and in some cases will save travel time. If you have any questions, just ask!
