My name is Kara Heise and I am the owner of Toxicat Media, a design and advertising company. I am an artist, photographer, and graphic designer that has been in the industry since 1997.

Freelance graphic and web design have been my key areas of experience for 12 years, and about half of that time was spent in the music industry both professionally and as volunteer work. I enjoy working with a variety of clients as well as various projects, from corporate identity and illustration to advertising and marketing. My design philosophy is that the key to a successful design is simplicity and originality. I welcome challenges, new experiences, and value all aspects of the design and advertising industry.
